Dangerman5 that ain’t true man. That was his training getting ready for tour. Read his training book he has three phase of lighting in his off season foudation, stengeth, and endurance (Lifting 2-3 times a week) and then in season he lifts once a week.

you should avoid …
you should avoid footwear when lifting (or avoid cushioning like the plague)… more power to him for doing it right. It’s is home gym after all.
