    Let’s sat you do push ups. If you do 12 push-ups, that is 12 reps, and 1 set done.
    Then do one more, and you have done 2 sets with 12 repetitions.

    try using dumbells or single arm pulleys instead of barbells and two arm pulleys. the reason your right side is bigger than your left is that your right side is doing most of the work when doing two arm excercises. by using dumbells you will isolate each side of your body and therefore create much better symmetry

    2 if fine but I would change up the exercises so your hitting diff angles of your lats, also muscle confusion is key to hypertrophy, T bar rows and horizontal pull ups really gave me growth in my upper lats.

    reps means how many times you would lift the weight. about 12-15 times. sets is how many times you do that. as in 3 times. example he may be saying 12-15 reps, 3 sets. so you lift 15 times, 3 times. taking breaks in between. hope that helps.

    reps( repititions) are how many times you perform the range of motion to complete an excersise. and sets refer to a grouping of repititions. for example 3 sets of 8 reps means you perform 8 reps continuously and that completes a set. then you take a short rest period and do 8 more reps. thats set 2. and repeat for desired sets.
