Are there signifigant benefits to cardio before a weight training workout?
I'm currently splitting my workout into alternating days. Arms/Shoulders/Chest and Legs/Core. I'm being told I could see better results by switching to 3 days Upper, Lower, Core and adding 15 minutes of cardio before each.
You're less likely to cramp or pull a muscle if you're warmed up before you lift.
could having sex in the afternoon affect your weight training workout at night?

cardio should be done in the morning before breakfast for higher levels of fat loss. And after weight training. The reason it should be done after weight training is because when you weight train your body uses glycogen (carbs) for energy. So after a weight workout your body will be lower in glycogen, so you will burn more bodyfat since you will not have to burn carbs first.

Many argue that weight lifting is better before cardio. This is because if you start with cardio, you will be using things like carbohydrates and sugars from your food in the day instead of your fat stores. It will be about 10 minutes (this does vary depending on intensity etc) until you actually start burning fat. So warm up properly doing 5 minutes cardio, stretch each muscle complete your weight training and then go on to do your 15 minutes - although being picky I would actually double that to 30 to see better results in a shorter amount of time.
