heyy. im under … heyy. im under weight and i need to gain a couple of pounds.. but i dont eat much during the day and i want to gain muscle and not belly fat. what and how should i do this ???
I’m down about 1 1/ … I’m down about 1 1/2 pounds in weight since I reduced or gave that stuff up May 10. My waist feels tighter and I’ve gotten all my lifts and poundages for the month no problem. I’m actually feeling very strong. 240lbs X 12 on incline bench last night, which for me anyway is very good. I’m going to go another month without all this protein loading and see how I do. But right now I’m looking back on all that protein comsumption and thinking, ” what was all that for?? “
Hey bbirocz540, if … Hey bbirocz540, if there’s one thing I’ve gotten final clarification on from being on this site for the last 30 days, it’s the protein issue and protein powders. Clarence Bass, a strength and fitness writer and athele I admire very much, uses so little protein powder I almost can’t believe it. He would sprinkle 3/4 of a teaspoon a day on his grains,..and that’s it. I always thought he was wrong. Now I see that he was right. For the last 3 weeks I’ve skipped the bars and very little powder.
if you want to tone … if you want to tone up you have to use a light weight which you can use 30 to 40 times a set .. and if you dont know what a set is , it is lifting a weight 30 to 40 times at once without resting - and once youve achieved that . youve done 1 rep.
as far as i know, … as far as i know, there’s no real limit to how much cardio you can do, unlike lifting weights. im no expert but if youre trying to lose weight, i dont think you can do too much as far as cardio, as long as you consume enough calories to keep your energy up.
i dont get it, your … i dont get it, your suppose to loose more calories then you consume, well what happens you eat about 1500 calories and burn approx 500 to 1000 a day depending on what you do, how would you loose weight in this case. ide have to eat 1000 calories or less a day, to loose weight. myself at 220 lbs im told i need to eat about 2200 calories to maintain the weight or do the 3000 calorie a day when you eat 2000 calories and burn 1000 to loose 2 lbs a week. so what is actually right??? im confused.
ok its driving me … ok its driving me nuts so much conflicting info.i am 9% body fat right now i got that little bit of belly fat going on i have been weight training every day and doing 30 minutes cardio 4x a week at 70% of my heart rate i wanna keep my muscle and build more while losing my remaining fat im 170 right now what should my CALORIE INTAKE BE IM currently eating 6 small meals a day 2100 cals.HELP!!!

Lots of helpful stuff on this site. At the moment I’m really focused on getting shredded six pack abs. It’s my personal goal these days. Do you have any diet tips if the goal is to get a six pack as fast as possible? I’ve been told that egg whites, oatmeal, salmon, blueberries and broccoli are all important to incorporate into my diet. Are there any other foods I should consider working into my diet?
